Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: November 6, 2025

The use of our website at aquadronepro.com or the engagement of our drone-based exterior cleaning services implies your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. We ask that you read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms and Conditions have been read, understood, and you agree to comply with them when you contract with Aqua Drone for any cleaning services, including but not limited to window cleaning, building exterior cleaning, solar panel cleaning, tank cleaning, yacht cleaning, or industrial facility cleaning. Please do not engage our services if you do not agree with any part of these terms.

2. Services Provided

Aqua Drone uses drone technology to provide professional exterior cleaning services throughout Southern California. We provide services related to windows and exteriors of buildings, solar panels and energy facilities, tanks and industrial facilities, and yachts and maritime vessels. The Lucidbot Sherpa drones used by our FAA-certified pilots can reach 14 stories, with an option for higher elevations.

Over 35 years of experience in the mechanical and elevator industries, our founder, Jim Goss, is also certified in drone flights and Haz-Mats from Foothill Fire Academy, ensuring every project is safe and professional.

3. Service Agreements and Quotes

Cleaning services require a written estimate or proposal. Aqua Drone quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may change based on site conditions, accessibility concerns, safety concerns, and/or additional services requested. Upon accepting a quote and scheduling services, Aqua Drone and you enter into a binding agreement. To avoid fees, cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance.

4. Payment Terms

Your service agreement specifies the terms of payment. Service payments are due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed. Payments can be made by check, credit card, ACH transfer, or other means. Late fees can range from 1.5% per month to 18% annually. We may require a deposit for larger projects. Aqua Drone reserves the right to take collection actions and recover reasonable attorney fees in the event of non-payment.

5. Scheduling and Service Delays

The Aqua Drone team will make every effort to complete the scheduled services by the scheduled date. Weather conditions may compromise drone safety or cause equipment malfunctions, FAA flight restrictions or airspace limitations, site access issues or unforeseen site conditions, or emergencies may cause services to be rescheduled. If rescheduling is necessary, we will notify you as soon as possible. Service delays due to circumstances outside our reasonable control will not be covered by Aqua Drone.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients need to provide accurate property info, like the height of the buildings, the surface of the property, any damage, and what needs to be cleaned. All service areas must be legally accessible, and permission from property owners, homeowners' associations, or building management must be obtained.

You are responsible for notifying us about hazards or obstacles, such as overhead power lines, nearby airports, sensitive equipment, or restricted areas, that may affect drone operations. Work areas should be accessible and free of obstructions. Objects that can interfere with operations, such as vehicles, equipment, or movable objects, should be moved. Scheduled operations must be notified to building occupants and neighbors, and fragile items, decorations, or loose objects must be removed or secured.

7. Safety and Compliance

Our company places a high priority on safety. Aqua Drone complies with all FAA Part 107 regulations related to commercial drone operation, OSHA safety standards, and local, state, and federal regulations governing exterior cleaning. Our founder holds Haz-Mat certification from Foothill Fire Academy along with FAA Part 107 certification. If we determine that conditions are unsafe for our personnel, equipment, or the public, we reserve the right to refuse service or halt operations.

8. Limitation of Liability

The operations of Aqua Drone are covered by appropriate insurance. All claims arising from our services are, however, limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not responsible for preexisting damage to surfaces, structures, or equipment, or damage caused by defective materials, faulty construction, or normal wear and tear. Our company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. If there are any concerns about the work, clients must report them within 48 hours of completion.

9. Warranty and Service Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work at Aqua Drone. Our services are guaranteed to be performed efficiently and professionally. You must notify us within 48 hours of service completion if you are not satisfied with our services, and we will take reasonable steps to resolve your concerns. We are not responsible for damage caused by factors beyond our control, normal dirt and debris accumulation after service completion, weather conditions after service, or client's failure to follow instructions.

10. Intellectual Property

Content on Aqua Drone's website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Aqua Drone or its content suppliers and protected by intellectual property law. Without our express written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.

11. Indemnification

Upon breach of these Terms and Conditions, your violation of any law or regulation, the provision of inaccurate or misleading information you provide, unauthorized access to the service location, negligence or willful misconduct, will indemnify and hold Aqua Drone, its officers, employees, pilots, and agents harmless from any claim, damage, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees.

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of dispute, good faith negotiations will be conducted first. The American Arbitration Association will provide binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, if a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation. The prevailing party is entitled to recover attorney fees and costs. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by California law without regard to conflict of laws principles.

13. Modifications to Terms

Aqua Drone reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. When changes are posted to our website, they will be effective immediately. After changes are posted, your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

14. Severability

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
